When Betty woke up yesterday morning, she had a terrible headache and could hardly move. She made herself comfortable in bed and tried to go back to sleep. Just then, her dog barked loudly at her. “Percy, stop! You are not adorable at all today!” Betty grumbled and got out of bed. She hit her toes on the table leg. “Ouch!” Betty immediately looked at her foot. A dark purple bruise was visible. After that, Betty cooked herself some vegetable soup. She was so sick that she threw up right after having it. At last, she realized that she had a horrible cold and went to see the doctor.
