Amy wanted to give a birthday surprise to her mother, but she overslept in the morning. When she finally got up, she tried to make a birthday cake. Amy did not understand the recipe so the cake was underbaked. Then, Amy cooked some food. Thirty minutes later, she opened the lid and found that the food was overcooked. Amy’s mother was coming home soon, so Amy called a restaurant. But the delivery was very expensive because of the thunderstorm. Amy thought the restaurant overcharged her and canceled the order. She opened the fridge and took out the leftovers from yesterday’s dinner. “I overestimated myself,” said Amy sadly.
